Save the Date! Falls in the Elderly...A complex topic but oh so important!

Topic: Falls - A Comprehensive Overview

Earn up to 12 CPD points for attendance and assessment completion.

Recent evidence demonstrates that the risk of falls may be more important than the benefits of some medications.  This includes sedatives, antipsychotics, anti-hypertensives and other commonly used medications where in relation to falls, less may be better.  This seminar will cover the latest research and recommendations including an update of osteoporosis, pain management after acute fracture, rehabilitation post fall will also be covered.  Invited speakers will be specialist geriatrician, rehabilitation specialists, clinical nurse consultant to include a few.
